Noise is an issue that impacts the surrounding community near the airport. And as communities grow towards, and envelop airports, noise monitoring becomes an issue. Our noise-monitoring tool establishes a record of noise events based on your needs. To use the sample, click on the notepad icon across the top, and it opens a pop-up window. Click on the noise-monitoring portion of the pop-up and click in the map to establish a point, and fill in the information about the issue. The information is customized to your airport's needs. The points actually become a permanent part of your GIS system. It's even possible to make this a public-facing application to serve the community or as part of any E-GOV initiatives.
